Service at the Texas-Mexico Border w/ LUPE

Lecture & Discussion
Tuesday, December 3
8 - 9 pm
Union South | Agriculture Room
Cost: Free
A discussion with LUPE regarding how they serve new immigrants at the Texas-Mexico Border.

Immigration has become an increasingly pressing issue recently. However, for the past 30 years Alternative Breaks have been sending UW-Madison students to work with LUPE, an organization dedicated to helping immigrants and low income citizens in the Rio Grande region. Here, you will have the opportunity to discuss with one of the leaders of LUPE as he describes major issues and what we can do to help.
