In light of recent tension escalating in Israel/Palestine, Seif Da'Na will be talking about the seeds of the Israeli/Palestinian conflict in terms of Colonial Zionism.

In light of recent tension escalating in Israel/Palestine, Seif will be talking about the seeds of the Israeli/Palestinian conflict in terms of Colonial Zionism. 

Seif Da’Na is a professor of Sociology at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. Besides his research in social theory and sociology of the Environment, Da’na has authored many articles, book chapters, and encyclopedia entries on Arab world and Palestinian issues, including entries for Arab Studies Quarterly and Middle East Affairs. Book chapters include features in Race and Identity in the Nile Valley, by Carolyn Fluehr-Lobban, and Teaching Islam, by Lynne Rienner. In addition to his scholarly publications, he has published a number of commentaries on the Middle East in the Opinion Page of the Egyptian AL-Ahram Weekly, as well as analyses for Al Jazeera, and has contributed to Palestinian Journals.
