Redefined is UW-Madison’s premier co-ed a cappella group. Made of 17 undergraduate members, the group has performed across the Midwest and has released 8 studio albums since it was formed in 2001 by Nate Mendl and Andrew Jarvinen. Redefined made its debut at the International Championship of Collegiate A Capella (ICCAs) in December 2002, and has since set a new standard of a cappella music on the UW campus.
The group hosts one large theatre concert every semester and performs weekly at various gigs, ranging from banquets to charity events to headline shows. They are renowned for their Youtube cover of Bastille by Pompeii and have even performed on an episode of Dateline NBC. Their newest studio album, For Now, which features 9 tracks, can be found on iTunes, Spotify, Apple Music and more.
