President Trump and Rhetoric: Do Words Matter?

Lecture & Discussion
Wednesday, November 14
8 - 9 pm
Memorial Union | See TITU for room number.
Cost: Free
Join us as we have a respectful and engaging discussion on the impact of rhetoric, specifically President Trump's.

We've all been taught our words matter, but how does the way we interpret words change when we're examining the words of the president? How do expectations about presidential rhetoric color the way we understand President Trump's messages? This week, we'll discuss whether President Trump's rhetoric is strategic or impulsive, what his intent is with his words, and what the impacts are on individuals and the relationship between people. All are welcome to join us for this important conversation, and there's lots to be said!
