Pisanki: Ukrainian Egg Dyeing

Other
Thursday, April 6
5:30 - 7:30 pm
Cost: Free
Join us for some traditional Ukrainian egg dyeing!

Join us for a workshop with Madison-based artist Jaroslava Sobiskova in learning the Ukrainian tradition of Pisanki! Pisanki are created by drawing on an egg shell covered with a layer of wax, or alternately drawing designs with wax on bare egg. The egg is then submerged into a dye to create colorful designs.

We hope to see you there! Supplies are limited, so be sure to arrive early.

This event is open to UW-Madison students and staff and Union Members and their guests.
