Iran | 104 minutes | R | DCP | Dir. Many Haghighi
Hasan Kasmai is a once-celebrated, now blacklisted director who has to contend with playing second fiddle when his actress lover agreed to star in the film of his biggest rival, all while he languishes on second rate ad projects. When a serial killer known as "The Pig" starts killing off his fellow directors, his biggest issue is that he might not be famous enough to be on the killer's hit list.
"The film is rich in absurdist humor and intermingles character-based comedy with sharp observation," - Jennie Kermode, Eye on Film
