Outdoor Leadership: Overview & Orientation

Course Price: $3 for Non-Hoofer Members | Free for Hoofer Members
Learn outdoor leadership principles, discuss expectations and establish standards in an Outdoor Explorer Series course.

Applicable for all Hoofer Club leaders or any outdoor recreation organization leaders, this short in-person training will introduce leadership principles, discuss expectations, and establish trip leader standards for leaders looking to take their leadership to the next level.

Upon completion of this class, participants will:

  • Brainstorm expectations for an outdoor trip leader role
  • Establish standards and norms 
  • Discuss essential leadership skills and where they show up in the outdoor trip leader role
  • Identify individual leadership strengths and areas for growth
