An introduction to car camping that will make you more comfortable and excited for your next adventure!

If you’re not looking to hike through the woods with a 50-pound pack, car camping offers an awesome frontcountry adventure! Come to this introductory car camping course to learn more about the essentials of car camping. This course will give you the necessary tools to car camp with confidence!

Upon completion of this class, participants will:

Learn the ins and outs of parking in campgrounds and obtaining permits
Learn about various safety measures
Learn about alternative housing situations
Learn what gear is needed to have a successful trip
