Monoprint is an easy introduction to painterly printmaking. Monotypes are pigments on a smooth plate, manipulated with tools into an image that is transferred to paper while the ink is still wet. We will use different ink application techniques to create unique 1/1 prints that have a range of textures.
Explore working with a pottery wheel and learn the basics of working with clay. Each class comes with 12.5 lbs. of clay as well as free use of the open-studios during and two weeks after the class!
