MICHELLE Live at The Sett in Union South
MICHELLE are an artful pop music collective known for their eclectic blend of jazz and R&B influences. After debuting with 2018's Heatwave EP, they issued a series of 2021 singles that led to the January 2022 release of their first album, After Dinner We Talk Dreams.
Hailing from New York City, MICHELLE features the talents of singer/songwriters Jamee Lockard, Charlie Kilgore, Layla Ku, Sofia D'Angelo, and Julian Kaufman.
The group initially came together while they were still in high school and stayed in touch while attending college. In 2018, they gained wider attention with the release of their debut EP, Heatwave, which showcased their vibrantly soulful sound. Beginning in 2021, MICHELLE released a succession of singles, including the hooky soul-pop of "Sunrise" and the vivid "Syncopate," in advance of their 2022 full-length After Dinner We Talk Dreams.
