Dr. Alexander Tahk will talk about the Republican Party, and how it has changed since Trump.

Dr. Alexander Tahk, Associate Professor of Political Science and Director of the Tommy G. Thompson Center, will join WUD Society & Politics to present on how the Republican Party has changed since the emergence of Donald Trump as the face, and how the party will move forward after the upcoming presidential election. Professor Tahk will answer what a conservative is, if it differs from a Republican, and address the evolution of American conservatism from his perspective as a political scientist and as a civic participant. This event is open to individuals of all political perspectives. We will meet on Friday, November 1st from 12 P.M. to 1:15 P.M. in Memorial Union (room to be assigned), and lunch will be provided.
