SEASA is excited to invite you to our Lotus Lantern Ball: “Waves of Resilience.”

The Southeast Asian Student Association (SEASA) is excited to invite you to our Lotus Lantern Ball: “Waves of Resilience.” This event will center around the theme of mental health and its impact on our everyday lives, and don’t forget to join us for cultural performances, chances to win prizes, and, of course, free food!

SEASA is a multicultural and diverse student organization dedicated to bridging the gaps within Southeast Asian cultures. Our mission is to celebrate and preserve the rich cultural heritage of the Southeast Asian community through various cultural events and performances. We aim to educate our audience on the importance of cultural preservation while fostering an inclusive environment.

Scheduled to happen for Sunday, April 20th, 5 – 10PM, located in Great Hall of Memorial Union, join us for our annual Lotus Lantern Ball: “Waves of Resilience,” an event designed to have you engaged socially and mentally. Between transitioning sets, you’ll have opportunities to win exciting prizes, just for showing up!

Throughout the evening, we will offer a variety of activities that encourage interaction between students, staff, and faculty. We’ll also be featuring keynote speakers who will share their personal experiences with mental health, exploring how our mental states impact our daily lives and offering practical tips for improving mental well-being. Our event will also feature cultural performances by student organizations, as well as Greek fraternities and sororities here on campus! After these performances, indulge in a delicious, free meal with options including chicken satay (w/ sweet chili dipping sauce), garlic stir-fried vegetables, and white rice. As the night wraps up, we invite you to enjoy open ballroom dancing, photography opportunities, and time for networking with students, staff, and faculty. Don’t miss out on this unforgettable celebration of culture, mental health, and community!
