Come celebrate the conclusion of our 2018 inDIGenous Jazz Series with Madison music scene heavyweights Immigré! True to their Afrofunk genre, Immigré trades in dynamic grooves and unrelenting polyrhythms. Comprised of ten local musicians, Immigré delivers a worldly jazz-rock sound. Swirling, repetitive guitar patterns, deep, funky bass lines, and a serious percussion section lay the foundation for the melodic horn section to dance over, accentuated by pulsing electric piano lines. The combination makes for an irresistibly dance-worthy experience.
