Tim Whalen is a seasoned jazz pianist based in Washington D.C. He is well known for his composition and arrangement as well as his passion for the music he plays. He has toured all over Europe, Japan and the United States, and has collaborated with some of the best jazz musicians in the industry. He has taught jazz improvisation, composition, arranging, jazz history and private lessons at the University of Toledo and is, according to the Washington City Paper, “one of the ablest and most expansive pianists in the area."
