The final installment of our In Case You Missed It series. Watch 2020's Minari on Saturday, April 24th anytime from 4:00pm to 10:00pm. Just in time to be all caught up for the Oscars the very next day. Minari received 6 Academy Awards nominations including best original score, best screenplay, best director, best supporting actress for Youn Yuh-jung, best actor for Steven Yeun, and best picture.
In order to be able to watch the film, please fill out the google form below prior to noon on April 20th. We have 250 available spots for the film, so fill out the form sooner rather than later because it might fill up quick. PLEASE NOTE: Due to licensing reasons, this film is only available to UW-Madison students, faculty, and staff, so please use your Wiscmail when accessing the screening. The screening window will be open anytime between 4:00pm and 10:00pm, so the film can be started anytime in the period.
About the film:
A Korean American family moves to an Arkansas farm in search of its own American dream. Amidst the challenges of this new life in the strange and rugged Ozarks, they discover the undeniable resilience of family and what really makes a home.
