Madison native Immigré brings the groove with its Afrofunk sound. A monstrous percussion section, guitar and blaring horns will bring everyone to the dance floor. The band, which plays mostly Wisconsin shows, is comprised of ten local musicians who deliver a worldly jazz-rock sound. Swirling, repetitive guitar patterns, deep, funky bass lines, and a serious percussion section lay the foundation for the searing melodies of the horn section, accentuated by pulsing electric piano comps.
