Ever wonder how people could climb ice? Well, come and find out with Hoofer Mountaineering Club! We are building an ice wall on beautiful Lake Mendota and will demonstrate the basic techniques to climbing ice. Participants will learn about ice climbing equipment, and how to properly swing tools into solid ice.
This event is free but registration is required. Participants are welcome to join at any point for the duration of the event.
