Join WUD Society & Politics Committee on Monday, October 23rd, 2023, from 6-8:30 P.M. at the Marquee Cinema in Union South for a screening of the 2017 film "I, Daniel Blake," which follows a heart-attack survivor as he navigates the British welfare system to access government assistance. The heartwarming film explores community, social welfare, and the struggles of the everyday working class. The screening will be followed by a discussion where we will dig into the barriers that Daniel Blake faced in the movie and discover insights into the process of accessing social welfare. Food will be provided, and the event is free to attend.
Join WUD Society & Politics each Tuesday to engage in non-partisan discussion.
As the election approaches, emotions can run high, and stress levels can rise, partake in guided painting at Wheelhouse Studios.
Join WUD Society & Politics as we take some time to write heartfelt letters for children in hospitals with the help of Letters of Love.
