Have you ever played a cooking game and wanted to make the recipes? Put the recipes from the game Venba to the test in this video game exhibition and cooking workshop combo!
Participants will have the opportunity to play Venba, a video game following the life, and food, of an Indian immigrant family in Canada. In the game, you will cook several south Indian recipes based on Tamil culture.
Participants will also take part in a cooking workshop where you will cook a recipe from the game in the Bakke Kitchens. After you finish cooking, you can eat your creations!
This is a free event intended for UW-Madison students and Union Members. Registation is required and limited to the first 30 people.
