Did you know that weight stigma has increased 66% since 2012, according to the NIH? Anti-fat bias is rooted in misconceptions around weight gain and loss and is perpetuated almost ubiquitously. Join WUD SoPo and Dr. Kate Phelps for a Mythbuster *Wednesday* guest lecture and discussion on the topic of anti-fat bias, particularly in social media, and ways to promote healing and accessibility. We will meet in the Old Madison Room (3rd Floor East) in Memorial Union on April 3rd at 6 p.m. See you there!
