Come join us at the "For the Culture: Artist+ Activism Talk!" Zahira Kelly-Cabrera aka @Bad_Dominicana is an AfroDominicana mami, writer, artist (some may say ‘social media personality’), mujerista, award-winning sociocultural critic, and international speaker.

What does it mean to mean to be an artist? Do artists of color have a responsibility to politicize their identity? Participate in an interactive space with artists of color. The evening will being with a panel about finding and expressing your identity as an artist followed by an open mic. Comedians, storytellers, singers, poets, rappers, actors and other performance artists are welcome to participate.
