A discussion with UW-Milwaukee's distinguished political science professor, Dr. Uk Heo, on North Korea & nuclear weapons

WUD Society & Politics is collaborating with UW's Korean American Students Association to host a talk by political scientist Dr. Uk Heo on North Korean nuclearization on April 18th from 5-6:15PM in Humanities 2650.

Dr. Uk Heo is a University Distinguished Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Department of Political Science and a leading expert in Korean politics and international relations.The talk is entitled "Why Does North Korea Want Nuclear Weapons?". It will be about the history of North Korean nuclearization in the context of U.S.- South Korea-North Korea relations and will also cover the North Korean Nuclear Crisis, providing analysis of the current events surrounding this topic.

This event is free and open to all. The talk will be about 50 minutes followed by a Q&A session. We're very excited to be hosting this event and hope to see you there!
