In a hospital near the ocean, all the boys are subjected to a strange medical treatment and one of them begins to question what is happening.

France/Belgium/Spain | 81 min | NR | DCP | Dir. Lucile Hadzihalilovic

The only residents of young Nicholas' sea-side town are women and boys. When he sees a corpse in the ocean one day, he begins to question his existence and surroundings. Why must he, and all the other boys, be hospitalised?

"Evolution never quite gives up its secrets, and it's not a coincidence that the opening shots are deep underwater, since the picture submerges the viewer in its world and keeps them there." - Sherilyn Connelly (SF Weekly)

This event is intended for UW-Madison students, faculty, staff and Union members and guests.
