This event will be a *blindfolded* dining encounter in order to create a culinary experience with heightened senses.

WUD Cuisine presents our first ever Dining In The Dark! This event will be a *blindfolded* dining encounter in order to create a culinary experience with heightened senses.

Diners will come in and receive their blindfolds—no peeking allowed during the meal! There will be an option of meat or vegetarian, which is included in the sign-up form, and appropriate signage reflecting this will be given to you. We will then have a brief introduction and then get started with the food—we will be serving samples of 3 entrees, 3 sides, and 4 desserts that will not be announced ahead of time in order to elevate the experience. Drinks will also be provided.

When creating this event we tried to accommodate for some major allergy groups (peanuts, tree nuts, shellfish), however, it’s extremely important to us that everyone is safe so, we want to stress that the foods served will not be disclosed to you ahead of time in order to enhance the dining in the dark experience. Note this may be a potential allergen risk to some. If you have any questions or concerns please email cuisine@union.wisc.edu.
