A Peruvian fisherman goes on a journey to properly bury the love of his life, dealing with the judgement of his wife, community, and self.

Peruvian-Colombian | 100 min | DCP | Dir. Javier Fuentes Leon

Miguel is a fisherman in Cabo Blanco. This small fishing village in the Northern coast of Peru is inhabited by a very religious and traditional community. Miguel's wife, Mariela, is 7-months pregnant with their firstborn, but Miguel is keeping a secret. He is having an affair with another man, Santiago, a painter who is ostracized by the townsfolk for being agnostic and open about his sexuality.

“Strikingly photographed to accentuate the majestic Peruvian coastline, this sexy, haunting love story transcends place and time.” David Courier, SUNDANCE FILM FESTIVAL (Undertow website)
