Community Tie Dye Event

Create a Terrace sunburst-themed design for a chance that your design is featured in an upcoming, free t-shirt tie-dye event! Tie-dye event attendees will put their personal touches on the t-shirt you designed by tie-dying with a variety of colors available for free.

Contest Rules: Your design must include the Wisconsin Union sunburst logo. To enter the contest, email your design to rchildebrand@wisc.edu and include the following: Your first name, last name, and phone number.

No alcohol, drugs or paraphernalia may be present in any photos, and all communication and designs must be in compliance with our patron code of conduct. All participants must be 18 and older. Contestants may submit multiple entries. Entries are due 8/1/22 at 11:59 pm CDT.

The chosen submitted design will be used in this limited, free shirt production. By submitting your design, you give the Wisconsin Union the right to use your image/design forever without any payment. These shirts will only be available for free to Wisconsin Union event participants. Please note that any use of the sunburst design for retail sale must be done in conjunction with the University of Wisconsin–Madison Office of Trademark Licensing, as the sunburst design is trademarked. Any use of the sunburst image without approval by the Office of Trademark Licensing is trademark infringement and will be subject to legal action.
