A discussion on service trips abroad and domestically. (feat. WUD Alternative Breaks and the SWE International Outreach)

Join WUD Global Connections, WUD Alternative Breaks, and the Society of Women Engineers in discussing how to volunteer ethically domestically and abroad. How do you prevent toxic charity and orphanage tourism? What is the best way to enter other communities while respecting their culture and assisting in sustainable change? 

WUD Alternative Breaks who plan Service Learning trips for the campus to locations across the United States while working towards ethical service with the help of educations, orientations, and reflections & Society of Women Engineers' International Outreach section who plan international service trips to discuss women's empowerment in India & Uganda. WUD Global Connections is dedicated to fostering awareness of global issues and interests across cultures and identities to promote understanding and inclusion through our various programs.
