These images are from Charlie Wetzel's long form photo essay Me and This Place, which tracks her medical gender affirmation in the visual context of North Cascades National Park. This glacier-dense section of the American landscape is highly susceptible to climate change, and as this series continues, it will illuminate how one body and one piece of land change over time.
Wetzel's exhibition will be on view in the Main Gallery on the 2nd floor of Memorial Union from December 2, 2022 to January 27, 2023.
