An open discussion on the power of media and how Black individuals have harnessed it to shape American discourse, culture, and society

Join Global Connections and Erica Turner, Executive Director of the civic organization Bridge The Divide, for a virtual discussion on how media has been used by Black individuals throughout history to both enact social and political change, and exert influence upon society. The event is free of charge, and falls into the Black History Month Planning Committee's 2022 theme of "Melanin in Media: The People, The Culture, The Blackprint".
