UK | 81 min | DCP | Dir. Paul Bush
Combining documentary footage and animation in a surreal hodgepodge, Paul Bush's first feature BABELDOM is a beautiful mess of ideas. Concerning itself with modernity and futurism, Bush's 2012 film exists in the vein of Godfrey Reggio's films examining the cities of the world and speculating on the future of our cultural spaces, while also functioning as a more formal sort of documentary informed by legitimate modern science and data.
