This Friday's topic is "Philosopher’s Take on the Science and Religion Controversy" led by Professor Larry Shapiro.
Larry Shapiro is a philosophy professor who specializes on topics in cognitive science. Recently he’s been stepping outside his area of expertise to examine questions about which science and religion have offered competing answers. His latest book, The Miracle Myth: Why Belief in the Resurrection and Other Improbable Phenomena Is Unjustified, will be published by Columbia University Press in fall, 2016.
