Group Activities at Sett Rec
Host a group event at Sett Recreation! We can make a team outing, get-to-know-you event or birthday party unique and tailored for your needs. Sett Rec is most known for bowling, climbing and pool but we also offer board games, video games, a VR headset, air hockey, karaoke and more. Pricing below is for group reservations made in advance through the Campus Event Services Office.
Bowling
Don't want to wait to bowl? Reserve your lanes in advance! At no extra cost, we can add glow-in-the-dark bowling, board games and customizable music options.
Cost: $24.50* per lane, per hour (price includes shoes)
Group Size: 2-6 people per lane
Number of Lanes: Up to 6 lanes can be reserved
*$75 minimum

Pool
Ready to shoot some pool? If you decide to make a bowling reservation, you can include up to 4 of our full-size Brunswick pool tables, too. At no extra cost, we can add board games and customizable music options.
Cost: $7.90* per table, per hour
Group Size: 2-4 people per table
Number of Tables: Up to 4 tables can be reserved

Climbing Wall
Belay on! Climbing is a challenging and rewarding way to bring your group closer together. This reservation provides exclusive use of four autobelay stations and the bouldering area.
Cost: $175* per hour
Group Size: up to 15 people

Make a Reservation
Reserve your event with the Campus Event Services Office at (608) 262-2511 or events@union.wisc.edu. Reservations are subject to approval.
- Non-Exclusive Use: Reserve at least 4 business days prior to event. Non-refundable $75 deposit required.
- Climbing Reservations: Reserve at least 2 weeks prior to event. Non-refundable $75 deposit required.
- Exclusive Use Outside of Operating Hours:
$1,500 for 3 hours. Reserve at least 14 days prior to event. Non-refundable $500 deposit required. - Exclusive Use During Operating Hours:
$2,000 for 3 hours. Reserve at least 14 days prior to event. Non-refundable $500 deposit required.
Discounts are available for Registered Student Organizations.
Birthday Parties
Want to host a birthday party at Sett Recreation? Whether it's for a child's special day or for a kid at heart, we can do that. Our birthday party packages are specifically designed for groups of 6 or more.
