Wisconsin Union Sausage Gravy

Sausage Gravy Ingredients

½ cup of flour 

½ pound of pork sausage

1/16 cup of pork base

½ teaspoon of ground white pepper

¼ teaspoon of ground thyme

1 ⅓ cup of half & half 

Sausage Gravy Directions

  1. Brown the pork sausage and break it up into small pieces. 
  2. Add flour and stir. 
  3. Cook until the flour is lightly browned. 
  4. Add your half & half, spices and base. 
  5. Bring to simmer. 
  6. Cook for 5-6 minutes, stirring often.
