Welcome to the Home of Wisconsin Union Directorate!

The Wisconsin Union Directorate (WUD) offers student leaders a fun and unforgettable
experience.  Each year students at WUD plan and promote 1000+ recreational, art,
community service and cultural events on campus. We're looking for students like you
to lead our organization.  You'll gain real world experience while doing what you love.

What is it?
The Hirsch Family Award is designed to applaud innovative work by students and faculty advisors who explore and showcase another aspect of the University’s diversity and excellence. 

What Types of Projects Would be Eligible?
A project must be part of a regular class assignment, linking one aspect of UW research, program or academic activity with a creative endeavor – a film, play, composition, poem, etc.  Either can initiate a project:  the “research” element or the “creative” element.
