The University of Wisconsin-Madison Bowling Team, supported by the Wisconsin Union, represents UW-Madison in conference and national intercollegiate bowling competitions. The team competes as a member of the Wisconsin Collegiate Bowling Conference (WCBC). The conference is composed of men’s and women’s teams from 13 different universities. We have 4 conference tournaments a year, and we usually attend an additional 3-5 regional and/or national tournaments. UW-Madison has typically done very well in the conference and is consistently one of the top competitors. Our men’s team has placed first in the conference for the past four years. Both our team and our conference are sanctioned by USBC-Collegiate.

The team meets once a week to bowl in a league. For those who wish to compete on the traveling team, this league serves to determine who travels to our tournaments and conference meets.

Join the team!

All full-time UW-Madison students are welcome to join the team! To be eligible to join the team, you need to be enrolled as a full-time student (12 credits for undergrads, 6 credits for grad students), and you must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0. If you are only interested in bowling with the team, any UW-Madison student, staff or faculty member, or member of the Wisconsin Union can bowl on the our league. The UW Bowling Team bowls competitively and socially and is always looking for new members. Our teams enjoy competing, but we do also like to have fun
