Obtaining a Union Gift Card
Gift cards may be purchased for any
dollar amount between $10 and $500.
Simply visit one of the following locations
or call (608) 263-1964 to obtain your card.
Cards are reloadable at most locations that
accept them.

The gift card is accepted at Wisconsin Union food units and retail locations in Memorial Union, Capital Cafe in Grainger Hall and the eight additional Union Delis across campus.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can a gift card be replaced if it is lost or stolen?
A gift card may be cancelled and replaced with required proof of purchase at the Wisconsin Union Cashier’s Office. The replacement card will contain the remaining balance of the lost card at time of cancellation.

Can I obtain cash with a gift card?
Gift cards are not redeemable for cash.

Can additional deposits be made to a gift card?
Yes, additional deposits can be made at the Cashier’s Office or Essential’s store in Memorial Union or at most locations that accept them like the Restaurants and Delis. A $10 minimum deposit is required.

How do I find out the remaining balance on my gift card?
The account balance is printed on the receipt after each purchase. You may also call (608) 263-1964.

In what dollar denominations is the gift card available?
Gift cards may be purchased for any dollar amount between $10 and $500.

Does the gift card have an expiration date?
A gift card account is subject to closure after 12 months of non-use.

Does a gift card provide any Wisconsin Union membership benefits?
No, proof of Union membership is still required at certain locations.

Are there any Wisconsin Union locations where the gift card cannot be used?
At the present time the gift card is not accepted by Mini Courses or Hoofers.

The Wisconsin Union gift card is accepted at most Wisconsin Union locations. For specific location information and hours of operation, contact the Wisconsin Union Cashier's Office at (608) 263-1964. Proof of Union membership is required at certain locations. Account is subject to closure after 12 months of inactivity. Lost or stolen cards may be cancelled and replaced with required proof of purchase at the Wisconsin Union Cashier's Office. Not redeemable for cash
