The 2024-2025 Classical Series

The Wisconsin Union Theater invites you to be part of the 105th year of our celebrated classical music series. This season, enjoy timeless works from renowned composers and modern interpretations that push classical into the present. Highlights include the return of GRAMMY-Award winning violinist Gil Shaham with pianist Orli Shaham; a collaboration between Eighth Blackbird and the UW Wind Ensemble; and the reinvented all-male a cappella ensemble Chanticleer.

The Wisconsin Union Theater Classical Series has a long-established history and is a cornerstone of the Wisconsin Union Theater’s annual season. Acclaimed artists such as Itzhak Perlman, Hilary Hahn, Yo-Yo Ma, Emanuel Ax, Artur Rubinstein, Vladimir Horowitz, Andras Schiff, Dawn Upshaw, and Renée Fleming have performed as part of the series. The Wisconsin Union Theater is eager to continue its tradition of showcasing living legends and standard repertoire while providing a platform for fresh, innovative, contemporary artists.
