OUR MEETINGS
We meet every TUESDAY at 6pm in the Morgridge Center in the Red Gym.
Many of these positions are not limited to a single individual; multiple people can fill most of these positions. It is expected that as a committee member, you will fill one of these positions at sometime this semester.
Committee member will be in charge of taking notes at committee meetings, of what was said and by whom, and what decisions were made.
Bernie’s Place is a partner of the Community Service Committee and offers daycare services to UW-Staff, Faculty, and Students. This committee member would represent us at these meetings and report back.
This committee member will be in charge of updating our union website and volunteeryourtime.org website weekly. This position will require the individual to communicate with Union web and marketing staff and to develop a system for committee members to submit updates.
Committee member(s) is in charge of organizing committee social events and coordinating inter-committee social events.
As a marketing team member you will work with the Marketing AD to learn the various ways to market events and participate in outreach to other student groups to promote events.
As an education team member you will work with the Education AD to develop education events/programs for our committee and the public, as well as research community issues.
Committee member(s) is responsible for CSC volunteer events or programs. The details of responsibility vary between each event or program.
